Team Collaboration via iCloud Drive
The video below demonstrates how a small team can collaborate on a project plan via iCloud Drive:
- Methods for sharing files via iCloud Drive may vary by platform and version.
- This video does not cover all possible workflows. Sharing files from a Mac or iPad involves similar operations.
- If you share a project file with write permission, we recommend backing it up to another folder on iCloud Drive. Team members might make incorrect changes, which iCloud will automatically sync to your devices without notification.
- iCloud Drive functions like a shared network folder. Avoid opening the same project file simultaneously on multiple devices. It is best to grant write permission to only one user at a time.
Attentions
Note: The iOS Files app has known stability issues with permission control. If collaborating using QuickPlan on an iPad:
- Share files directly. Do not share project files via a folder if you need to grant read-only permission to specific members.
- Use iCloud Drive. Avoid third-party cloud storage due to severe permission control bugs (likely caused by the iOS Files app or the storage provider) that are pending fixes.
